7th Berkshires' Summer Jazz Band Day Camp REGISTER NOW
The 2025 Berkshires’ Summer Jazz Band Day Camp, set for July 14-18, 2025, from Noon to 4:30pm daily, taught by our world-class BAAMS’ faculty who are or were also faculty members at the Manhattan School of Music, the Juilliard School, the Hartt School of Music, and more, is now open for Registration (scroll down for online registration application). Interested students from ages 12 to 18 may register to learn in this fun environment in the beautiful Berkshire Hills.
WHAT AND WHERE:
Students learn to play: TRUMPET/BRASS INSTRUMENTS, SAXOPHONE/WOODWINDS, PIANO/KEYBOARDS, DRUMS/PERCUSSION, GUITAR, BASS, explore MUSIC THEORY, how to IMPROVISE and how to COMPOSE new music. Some VOCALS and VOCAL PERFORMANCE will also be explored. BAAMS is delighted to offer this camp at a convenient location in North Adams, Mass. in the heart of the Northern Berkshires, about an hour from Albany, NY, under three hours from Boston, and three and a half hours from NYC.
COST:
Tuition for the entire week is $600 per student (payable by check, cashier’s check or money order; or via online invoice with a small added processing fee of $25) due at the time of registration. Tuition may be mailed to: BAAMS, 115 State Street, #6, North Adams MA 01247. Cancellation will be processed, if received in writing no later than June 15, 2025, less a $75 withdrawal fee.
EARLY BIRD INCENTIVE: save $50 by registering no later than February 15, 2025! (Note: students are expected to attend the entire week and participate in our Friday Night “Gala” celebration performance, to be held early evening on Friday, July 18, 2025.)
