Richard F. Boulger

Richard Boulger is a musician, composer, recording artist, and educator. Richard Boulger received his B.F.A. in Music Studies from the Hartt School of Music at the University of Hartford, and his Master’s degree from Rutgers University. Boulger, who hails from North Adams, Massachusetts, attended public schools there and was a student of the great Carl Jenkins at Drury High School, North Adams. Richard Boulger was a protegé of the late jazz legends Donald Byrd and Freddie Hubbard, and also studied privately with American composer, Ludmila Ulehla. He also serves as the Founder and Executive Director of the Berkshires’ Academy for Advanced Musical Studies.

Michelle A. Daunais


Michelle A. Daunais is a highly-skilled technical specialist with a strong scientific background and over 20 years of experience in regulated biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries. She currently serves as a Principal Business Analyst in the IT Scientific Informatics department of Takeda Pharmaceuticals, Cambridge, Mass.

Her professional expertise focuses on the implementation, management, and support of GXP scientific software and tools. Technical writing, business relationship management and collaboration within cross-functional global teams are her strongest skills.

Michelle is an Adams, Massachusetts native, a graduate of Hoosac Valley High School, who received her degree in Biology from the College of The Holy Cross, Worcester. She is the daughter of James and Sandra Daunais of Adams, wife and mother of two. Her son, Luke Seto, is a three-time past jazz-band day camper and current BAAMS student who holds the first chair, tenor saxophone, at Eastern Massachusetts’ District Jazz Band. He also participates in youth ensembles with the Rhode Island Youth Philharmonic and the New England Conservatory. 

Michelle is an active part of the Weymouth Music Boosters Organization, involved in fundraising, support and enrichment activities for musical groups in the Weymouth, Massachusetts Public Schools, and has volunteered with various non-profit organizations in Eastern Massachusetts. She is a fervent, life-long believer in the power of STEAM education to transform children’s lives and is thrilled to contribute to the amazing future of BAAMS.

Treasurer

Maria C. Isotti

Maria is highly experienced in financial management, taking pride in fiscally-sound practices. She is a successful entrepreneur, having operated her own tax-preparation and business consultant firm since 1986. She served as Treasurer for Northeast Foundation, Inc. from 1992-2011. She is the controller of the renowned haute-cuisine destination, Pickity Place, Mason, NH, since 2011. She currently also serves as Controller for Robblee Tree Service, LLC, and escrow manager, Billing and A/P for Bielagus Law Firm, PLLC, Milford, NH. Maria is also a Licensed Realtor working with Appleshed Realty, Antrim NH, since 2013. She was educated at Newton Country Day School, went on to study at the University of Vermont in 1984-85, and received her B.A. in Accounting from Emmanuel College in 1988. 

Maria is the mother of three, two of whom were adopted. Her son, Colin Isotti, is an accomplished Classical guitarist, having studied with Dr. José Lezcano at Keene State College, Keene, NH, and the late Classical guitar virtuoso and composer, Frank Wallace. Colin is also a songwriter and performer of Blues and Alternative Rock music, currently pursuing his Master's degree in Tennessee. Maria has been a volunteer family-child mediator with the Milford mediation program in the 1990s and volunteered as a therapeutic horseback-riding instructor in Massachusetts and New Hampshire.

Jaimoe Johanson — Allman Brothers’ Band, legendary drummer and founding member

Jaimoe Johanson joined Otis Redding's touring band in 1966 at age 22. Played with legends Clarence Carter, Percy Sledge, and Sam & Dave in 1967-68. He was the first recruit into Duane Allman's new band and played with The Allman Brothers' Band until 1975 then joined forces with Chuck Leavell and Lamar Williams, forming Sea Level in 1977. He played off and on with the Allman Brothers in the late 70's, then rejoined the ABB in 1989. He stayed with the band until their retirement in 2014. He formed Jaimoe's Jasssz Band in 2008 as a side project, and still performs with them to this day. 

Jaimoe has two historic markers on The Mississippi Blues Trail, honoring his role in the local and international worlds of Blues and R&B. On November 3, 2017, Jaimoe received the Harriet Tubman Medal of Freedom for his role in progressing civil rights. He is a Grammy winner, was inducted as a member of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1995, and received the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award in 2012.
